Registration Late Fee

The registration fees passed in the state of California are not lenient. One must pay his renewal fees on or before the expiration date shown on the current registration card belonging to the owner of said vehicle. If the individual does not pay their registration/renewal fees, they will receive penalties in accordance with Vehicle Code Sections 9552-9554, which stipulate that the longer the payment is deferred, the higher the fees will be.
